Eating healthy doesn’t mean you have to skip dessert. We’ve created a selection of lighter dessert recipes to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Pineapple Tarte Tatin
- 50g of granulated sugar
- 10g of butter
- 250g of frozen crops pineapple
- 250g of jus rol puff pastry (1/2 of a 500g packet)
- Tbsp. of water
In a large non-stick frying pan caramelise the sugar with a tablespoon of water.
Once the sugar has started to brown around the edges remove from the heat and add the butter.
Carefully stir the butter into the sugar with a wooden spoon until combined.
Arrange the pineapple onto the caramel.
Roll out the puff pastry and cut a large circle using a large dinner plate as a template.
Lay the pastry over the pineapple and caramel and bake in a preheated oven at 200c for 10 minutes.
