Cooking Instructions

  • Oven cook From Ambient This lasagne is ready to use: No pre-cooking required. Recipe suggestion: pre-heat oven to 180°C (350°F). Gas Mark 4. Cook 450g (1 lb) lean minced beef and 1 finely chopped onion in a large frying pan, for 4-5 minuets until browned. Add 1 x 400 g. (14 oz) jar of Bolognese sauce. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Melt 25 g (1 oz) butter in a small pan, stir in 25g (1 oz) flour and cook for 1-2 minutes. Gradually stir in 425 ml (3/4 pint) milk. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously. Place alternate layers of meat sauce, lasagne and white sauce in a large ovenproof dish. Repeat finishing with a layer of white sauce. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Serve immediately.
