Carlsberg Lager 15 x 440ml
Yeast In the year 1883, Carlsberg discovered the world's first purified yeast for brewing - making it possible to create great beer, every time. A truly ground-breaking discovery Hops Fragrant yet with a pleasing bitterness, hops are nature's gift to brewers. Ours are blended using a closely guarded secret recipe which give Carlsberg its special taste and aroma Barley The malted barley we use in our beer today, specially bred to our exacting standards, is descended from the earliest varieties of the grain, cultivated around 10,000 years ago
Probably the best beer in the world
Produce of the EU
Carlsberg is a Pilsner style lager originating from Copenhagen, Denmark. Carlsberg is light, easy drinking and refreshing. The all malt recipe and Carlsberg yeast strain gives the balance between body and depth of flavour and a clean refreshing palate. When Carlsberg first imported it's lager from Copenhagen to the UK in 1868, it was a distinctive 12 pointed star that it used as its trade mark. Carlsberg's founder, J.C. Jacobsen created this star as the first trademark of his brewery, which was inspired by a 6 pointed star that has stood for quality since the middle ages. This 12 pointed Brewer's star remains an icon of premium lager for Carlsberg today. The Star even sits over the gates of the original brewery in Copenhagen as a constant reminder to continue to strive for quality in everything we do.
