Just NO Chicken Pie Avoid - not worth a quid - 2 teaspoons of tiny chicken pieces - Surely there's a law against selling this as a' Chicken Pie'?? Submitted by Mark 17/10/2016 03:51
Rubbish They call it Chicken Pie, but has very little chicken. Submitted by Jono the Lizard 01/11/2014 07:45
Disappointed I don't quite know exactly what it is about this one, but the other pies in the Fray Bentos range are much better than this. Submitted by Gavin 06/10/2014 01:00
Disappointed Pastry fine, gravy fine, but hardly any chicken ? Submitted by Johnboy 18/03/2014 12:21
Not as good as they used to be Very little filling, all puff pastry. These used to be so good, shame Submitted by Anonymous 03/03/2014 05:42
Better than you would expect These Frey Bentos tinned pies are much better than you would first expect, As for those who find it difficult to open them, I`m afraid you simply must apply strong pressure to allow the cutting wheel to go through the metal lid, it does of course help if you avoid denting or warping the tin lid, And remember they do have a long shelf life all without having to freeze or refrigerate them, The only issue for me is Iceland don`t seem to sell the Chicken and Mushroom version Submitted by Duke Nukem 28/01/2014 09:27
Impossible to open... Took me almost 20 minutes to get the lid off. No way was it going to open, the tin opener (has opened everything) just wasn't going to bite about a quarter of the rim.Resorted to using a knife to force the last part of the lid.Wish i had not bothered.Pastry was gooey and the meat was strands not chunks.
