  • Where it’s from?

Sirloin is as the name suggests from the sirloin section, which is on the back between the fore-rib and the rump. Sirloin has a tasty, melt-in the mouth succulence. Legend has it that it's named sirloin because it was knighted 'Sir Loin' by Henry VIII.

Uruguayan sourced beef from 100% grass-fed cattle.

  • Cook to Impress

Defrost in fridge for 12 hours before cooking. Sirloin is suitable for grilling, pan-frying, griddling or cooking on a BBQ. Don’t cook more than two steaks in a pan at the same time as they will stew, rather than fry. Let the steak rest for about 3 minutes before serving, to allow the juices that have been drawn to the surface to relax back into the meat. For best results pan-fry rare (red and soft in the centre) to medium rare (firmer centre, warmer red).
