1. Remove required amount from all packaging, place on a plate, cover with cling film.

2. Defrost in a refrigerator for 12 hours.

1. Remove required amount from all packaging, place on a plate, cover with cling film.

2. Defrost at room temperature for 3-3½ hours.

Once defrosted keep refrigerated and cook within 24 hours.

1. Place into a pan of boiling water (Do not let the pan boil dry).

2. Cook for 8-9 mins, reduce heat if necessary.

3. Place on a chopping board and carefully cut in half down the centre of the tail.

1. Heat a little oil in a frying pan over a medium heat.

2. Cut the lobster tail down the back with a sharp pair of scissors.

3. Crack open and remove the meat from the shell.

4. Fry lobster for 5-6 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure an even cook (optional - add a knob of butter to the pan).

1. Pre-heat oven Fan 180°C/Gas 6.

2. Cut the lobster tail down the back with a sharp pair of scissors.

3. Ease open and place a knob of butter in the centre of the tail.

4. Place on a baking tray near the middle of the oven for 25-28 minutes.

LOBSTER IS COOKED WHEN OPAQUE OR NO LONGER TRANSLUCENT.

    Canadian Lobster caught using pots and traps and frozen within 6 hours of catch!

  • What does it look like?

    These lobster tails are a shade of blue, but turn to a reddish colour when cooked. The meat is white and firm.
