Eating healthy doesn’t mean you have to skip dessert. We’ve created a selection of lighter dessert recipes to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Baked apples with oat crumble and honey
- 4 braeburn apples
- 4 tbsp quark
- 75g oats
- 75g plain flour
- 30g low fat spread
- 3 tbsp sweetner
- Pinch of salt
- Honey to drizzle
Mix together the oats, flour, sweetner, salt and low fat spread until well combined. Spread the mix over a baking tray and bake in a preheated 160c oven for 10 to 12 minutes and cool
Cut the tops off the apples and scoop the centre pips out with a spoon. Place onto a baking tray and bake in a pre heated 180c oven for 15 minutes.
Place the baked apples onto a serving plate and spoon in the quark, top with crumble and finish with a drizzle of honey.
