Dessert - Recipes
Eating healthy doesn’t mean you have to skip dessert. We’ve created a selection of lighter dessert recipes to satisfy your sweet tooth.
- 3 eggs
- 250ml of unsweetened almond milk
- 1 easy peel orange
- 40g of sugar
Pour the almond milk together with the peel from the orange into a sauce pan and heat but do not boil. Take off the heat and leave for ten minutes to infuse.
Whilst infusing, whisk together the sugar and eggs.
Pour the infused Almond milk through a sieve onto the egg mixture and whisk until incorporated.
Divide the mixture between to serving dishes and place the dishes into a deep tray which is then filled with enough water to go half way up the bowls.
Place the tray into a preheated oven at 140c for 20/25 minutes. They should have a slight wobble once set.
Chill in a fridge for 1 to 2 hours.
Sprinkle a little sugar over the top and place under a preheated grill until caramelised and golden. Divide the segments of the peeled orange to serve.
