Dessert - Recipes
Eating healthy doesn’t mean you have to skip dessert. We’ve created a selection of lighter dessert recipes to satisfy your sweet tooth.
- 2 egg yolks
- 3 tbsps sweetner
- 250g quark
- 1 tbsp coffee
- 200g crème fraiche
- 6 rich tea biscuits
- 2 tbsp brandy (optional)
- Coco powder to finish
Whisk the egg yolks and the sweetner together until the mixture is thick and pale in colour and then gently fold in the quark.
Dissolve the coffee in 75ml of water (add brandy if using) and dip in the rich tea biscuits being careful not to break them
Place a coffee soaked rich tea biscuit into your serving bowl, then a spoonful of the quark mixture and repeat leaving the remaining biscuit only at the top.
Whip the crème fraiche and spoon and smooth over the final biscuit.
Chill for 20 to 30 minutes and finish with a dusting of coco powder
