The Path to Salvation 1. For perfect pulled pork, coat 25g of rub onto 1kg of pork shoulder and leave to marinate for 3-4 hours minimum. 2. Place on roasting tray, cover with foil and cook in a pre-heated oven on 160°C for 2 1/2 - 3 hours. 3. Remove foil, sprinkle the rest of the rub onto the meat and cook on the middle shelf for a further 1/2 hour on 200°C. 4. When cooked leave in roasting tray and pull meat into strips. Smother in Red's Kansas City BBQ sauce and the meat juices from tray for authentic flavour. For best results smoke low and slow in your barbecue.
